Karapiro Pet Lodge is ideally situated in beautiful Karapiro, on State Highway I approximately 7.5km south of Cambridge. Set on over 4 acres of farmland the Lodge is very handy for any traveller.  Ray and Kaye live and work full time on the property, Kaye has trained and worked as a Veterinary Nurse, and is happy to care for any of your pets who may need ‘medic’ services.  Kaye has also trained with Jan Fennell and Tony Knight, of Amichien Dog Listerners Ltd, UK, formally  ”The Dog Listener”, and holds a Certificate of Advanced Canine Communication, and enjoys putting some of the knowledge to practice to understand and help their guests.  The family have over the years had all sorts of pets from guinea pigs, rabbits, axolotles, fish, love birds, cockatiels, cats, dogs, horses, donkeys and even a pet eel!  Kaye also shows her Miniature Schnauzers under the prefix of Kajen.
