The new cattery building includes a large sunny garden area with plenty of logs, branches and shelves for the cats to play or simply lounge around on.

Cats are boarded in a ‘communal’ arrangement, a large inside room with plenty of sleeping areas, state of the art cat furniture and toys plus an ‘outside’ garden area with trees, logs and sunning areas means your cat has all the comforts of home and more. We are often asked about fighting but this doesn’t occur. The reason being that cats are very territorial and will fervently defend their home range, but because the KARAPIRO PET LODGE is displaced from this and is neutral territory they have no desire to defend it. If you would prefer your cat to be housed in a separate cage, this is no problem, however, the cats seem to enjoy the social side of their stay.

A really good time, needs really good food.

Good food provides a nutritious and tasty highlight of the day, we currently provide our cat and dog guests with Royal Canin and Pro Plan food.  These are both premium foods, and we often receive comments on the coat and condition of pets when their parents come to collect them.  We do have tricks up our sleeve to entice picking guests to eat.  You are welcom to BYO food, if your pet has specific needs or tastes.
